If we hear the world “coffee cake”, then we might think about a cake that has coffee as one of its main ingredients. Coffee cake is not always including coffee in its ingredient. The definition of coffee cake means any cake that can be served as desert or with coffee. On the other word, it is a regular sweet cake to complete our coffee time. Coffee cake is not a masterpiece or idea of a chef; it is just a sweet cake that can be crested by all people. Coffee cake was well known for the first time in 17th century in Europe. Since decades ago, the European was known with their tea time or coffee time. If tea time is in the late afternoon, the coffee time is in the morning. To complete the coffee time, sweet cake was made. The basic ingredients for coffee cake recipe are eggs, flour, yeasts, nuts, sugar, sweet spices, and dried fruits. After the coffee cake recipe is taken to United State, we can find so many coffee cake creations like on with cream, yogurts, cheese, and many others.

Coffee cake making process can be quite complicated, but with this coffee cake recipe, we will be able to serve delicious sweet cake for our family in an instant. The ingredients we need are sugar, butter, beaten eggs, sour cream, vanilla essence, baking powder, baking soda, sifted flour, chopped nuts, cranberry sauce, and cake pan.

To process the ingredients, the first thing we can do is mixing sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla essence, and sour cream. After that we can add flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix it thoroughly and if it is too heavy, we can mix it with spoon. After the dough perfectly mixed, we can layer the cake pan with butter and sprinkle chopped nuts on it. We can add several ingredients we like such as cinnamon or brown sugar. Add small amount of cranberry sauce on the cake pan, then pour the dough and bake it for 45 minutes.
